KASHISH 2021 RESCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT

As announced earlier the 12th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival was to be held online from May 20th to June 6th 2021. While our line-up of 200+ films have been ready, the Jury is already on its duty, the festival team is going ahead with other preparations, and even the Earlybird Registrations had opened up, we were left with a dilemma that should we go ahead with KASHISH amidst so much grief around.

So considering the current situation of the raging pandemic in the country and across the world, and the anguish it is causing to everyone around, the festival’s Executive Committee and the Advisory Board has empathetically felt that we should reschedule KASHISH 2021 to a later date.

Hope this change will be appreciated by everyone.
The new dates for KASHISH 2021 are August 19th to September 5th 2021, spread over 3-weekends ONLINE.
We look forward to have you all with us to enjoy the festival on these new dates.

A huge big Thank You to the 200+ Filmmakers from 50+ Countries, who have sent in their amazing films to screen with us. We will send each one of you an email with the updates. Meanwhile, please rest assured that your films are films safe with us, and will be rolled out as per the schedule from the new dates.

To the AUDIENCE REGISTRATIONS:
We thank all of you who enthusiastically came forward to avail of Earlybird Registrations. We will send email to each one of you to check if you would like us to retain your registrations for the new dates. Hope the new dates won’t affect your schedule as we would be really happy to see you with us. Registrations will continue on the same link. Earlybird Registrations are now kept open till May 31, 2021 instead of the earlier announced May 2, 2021.
