Queer cinema or films with LGBTQIA+ protagonists have been here for long, so are the women filmmakers who have been ably telling stories, not necessarily about lesbians but about the wide LGBTQIA+ spectrum.
KASHISH 2021 is happy and honoured to have the participation of 80 women filmmakers with their films of different genres, shining throughout the program under different film packages.
Here we have hand-picked six films by women filmmakers as a representation to the wide themes and diversity of the work women create behind the camera, which will keep haunting you even after the screening.
