The 12th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, South Asia’s biggest LGBTQIA+ film festival, will be held ONLINE from August 19 to September 5, 2021, over 3 weekends.
KASHISH 2021 will screen around 221 amazing LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual++) films from 53 countries! IMP: Please note that some films are geo-blocked to play only in India and are not available to international audiences.

12 DAYS OF ONLINE SCREENING PROGRAM
Each day 4-5 programs (except on opening & closing days) will drop and will be available for 48 hours on the platform.
Each program could be a feature length film or a collection of short films.
All the film programs will become visible as new programs drop every day.
The online screenings will take place as follows:
Weekend 1 – Thursday August 19th to Sunday August 22nd
Weekend 2 – Thursday August 26th to Sunday August 29th
Weekend 3 – Thursday September 2nd to Sunday September 5th
Like last year, KASHISH will donate 60% of collection through registrations to 5 organizations across India, working with the Transgender community to assist their relief work during the ongoing COVID pandemic.

For the busy bees who would love to catch up with the festival only on weekends. This year KASHISH is spread over 3 LONG weekends. KASHISH weekend starts from Thursday!

STEPS TO REGISTER
- You have to be 18 year and above to register to attend KASHISH 2021.
- You can register for a Full Festival Pass – Outside India by paying $50. This pass will enable you to watch all the programs on all the 12 days of the festival spread over 3 weekends. Or you can buy Weekend Passes as above.
- After you register, you will receive an email with Tickets that can be redeemed against each program when the program drops on the platform.
- IMPORTANT: Just remember to redeem your pass for each program before the program’s expiry time.
