Because I Couldn’t Stop For Death offers an exploration of the lives of Sapna and her friend and co-worker Preeti. Sapna works as a grave painter, to support her son’s education. Set against the backdrop of Delhi’s oldest graveyard — where the film embarks on an introspective journey through her extraordinary existence. It chronicles her unwavering quest for an improved lifestyle, driven by aspirations, and the bureaucratic impediments and societal intricacies she confronts.
