SUMMER INTERNSHIPS WITH KASHISH 2013

KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival is India’s biggest LGBT film festival. Today it is an important event in the city’s cultural calendar. If you are passionate, committed, hardworking, motivated to work and wanna make a difference, while at the same time gaining valuable work experience, then apply for the KASHISH 2013 Summer Internship Program.

Duration: April 30 to May 30, 2013 (One Month)

Who are we looking for: Students and working professionals over the age of 18, who want to intern with KASHISH to gain valuable and real world work experience at India’s biggest queer film fest. Or, you are just looking for a summer break. Candidates should be computer literate, can read, write and speak English and have a working knowledge of Marathi and Hindi. Knowledge of a regional or foreign language would be an added advantage.

Functional areas: Programming, Hospitality Management, Production and Event Management, Public Relations, Media and Social Media Management.

What will the work involve: Work with the various KASHISH teams, coordinate with visiting filmmakers and guests, stage and foyer management, administration, interact with presspersons, help in setting up media interviews with filmmakers and actors, prepare press releases and dockets, help in managing the festival website as well as other social media accounts.

Rewards: Interns will receive a token compensation. An experience certificate will be awarded at the successful completion of the internship program
