KASHISH@PRIDE2018: KASHISH WILL HOST THREE EVENTS AT MUMBAI PRIDE 2018

January is pride month in Mumbai and this year don’t miss the bouquet of queer films at three venues across Mumbai, including a one-day regional LGBTQ film festival.

KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival – South Asia’s biggest LGBTQ film festival, will organise three film screenings as part of the pride month celebtaions leading up to the Queer Azadi Mumbai march on February 4, 2017.

“KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film festival has always been an integral part of Queer Azaadi Mumbai every year. This year our celebrate of KASHISH@Pride is threefold with two best of KASHISH events at Godrej and Sophia College for Women, but more importantly we are launching our new initiative KASHISH Chalchitra Utsav. This resonates with our theme for KASHISH 2018 – ‘Together, With Pride’. These three events reach out to three diverse target segments – LGBT community and allies, students and middle-class regional language audiences. The events are also pan Mumbai at Vikhroli, Prabhadevi and Breach Candy, thereby underlining KASHISH’s strength of being Mumbai’s biggest LGBTQ event,” said festival director Sridhar Rangayan.
