South Asia’s and India’s biggest LGBTQ film festival, and one of Mumbai’s important cultural events – KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival is back for its 9th edition from May 23-27, 2018 at two venues – Liberty Carnival Cinemas (May 23-27) and Metro INOX (May 25, 26).
The theme for KASHISH 2018 is Together With Pride, calling all of us to celebrate the pride of being ourselves – the pride of our sex, gender, color, ethnicity and body type.
Packed with the best of global LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) film screenings, filmmaker interactions, panel discussions, open mics, performances and red carpet events, the festival will embrace together with pride in its truest sense.
The festival has been graced by numerous Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities including Sir Ian McKellen, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Manisha Koirala, Juhi Chawla, Kunal Kapoor, Celina Jaitly, Kabir Bedi, Sanjay Suri, etc.
Note: Early Bird Discount of INR 100 has been applied automatically on the first three categories till April 30th. After that, the registration would be INR 600 and INR 450 respectively for the three categories.

Thank you for your interest in registering to attend 9th KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, that will take place from May 23 – 27, 2018 at Liberty Cinema and May 25 – 26, 2018 at Metro INOX.
The festival screens LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) films from around the world.
Below you will find details that will answer most of your queries regarding registration.

FESTIVAL DATES AND VENUES:
KASHISH 2018 will be held May 23 – 27, 2018 at Liberty Cinema (next to Bombay Hospital, Marine Lines) and May 25 – 26, 2018 at Metro INOX (Marine Lines).Both the venues are within 5min walking distance.

May 23rd – Begins 6.00pm – Ends 11.30pm
May 24, 25, 26, 27th – Begins 9.30am – Ends 11.30pm
METRO INOX:
May 25th – Begins 2.00pm – Ends 11.00pm
May 26th – Begins 11.00am – Ends 6.00pm
ENTRY TO FESTIVAL VENUES:
Festival Entry is ONLY for pre-registered Delegates who have filled out the Delegate Registration Form and obtained a Delegate Card. Entry at both the venues will be allowed only with a valid Delegate Card.
MINIMUM AGE:
Delegates must be ABOVE 18 YEARS OF AGE on May 1, 2018 to attend the festival screenings. Please carry a photo ID and age proof for verification.
CHARGES:
A nominal registration fee has to be paid towards the Delegate Card and Festival Catalog. There are different options, please read through carefully:
a) Full-Festival Delegate Card : Rs. 600 – for general delegates that allows you to watch screenings at both the venues. Valid at both the venues for all days, for all film screenings and panel discussions, including opening and closing night (except opening night party)

b) Full-Festival Card for Senior Citizens : Rs 450 discounted for Senior Citizens (60 years and above). Valid at both the venues for all days, for all film screenings and panel discussions, including opening and closing night (except opening night party)
ID Proof would be required.

b) Full-Festival Card for Trans* members: Rs 450 discounted for Transgender persons. Valid at both the venues for all days, for all film screenings and panel discussions, including opening and closing night (except opening night party)

b) Full-Festival Card for Students : FREE This year registrations for Students will be totally free under the Godrej Student Scholarship Program. Valid at both the venues for all days, for all film screenings and panel discussions, including opening and closing night (except opening night party)
Valid Student ID of a College / University to be produced when collecting the card. If ID is not valid, full festival charges will be applied.

c) Weekend Delegate Card : Rs.400 Valid ONLY for Saturday May 26th at both Liberty Cinema and Metro INOX; and Sunday May 27th at Liberty Cinema including closing night ceremony.
Collect your Delegate Card: Your delegate cards can be collected ONLY at Liberty Cinema during these dates and timings:
May 19-23rd Liberty Cinema 2.00pm to 8.00pm
May 24-26th Liberty Cinema 9.00am to 8.00pm
May 27th Liberty Cinema 9.00am to 2.00pm
First Come First Serve: Delegate Card does NOT guarantee seating which is strictly on a First Come, First Served basis. Please arrive 30min before a program to ensure you are seated well in time.
No Email Confirmation: The message you receive upon registration from Book My Show should be produced to collect your Delegate Card. No confirmation email will be sent by the festival.
