CALL FOR MARKETING EXECUTIVE
KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, South Asia’s biggest and India’s first mainstream LGBTQ film festival seeks a highly motivated and aggressively enterprising Marketing Executive to bring Sponsorships and Tie-Ups for the festival’s 10th Anniversary through creative and strategic marketing.
This year KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival takes place in June.

TERMS OF POSITION:
Freelance position for three months, from April until end of June
Mumbai based
Commission basis
Application deadline: Sunday, 31 March
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Creating and implementing marketing and sponsorship proposals to achieve revenue goals
- Developing creative ideas to inspire international, national and local sponsors
- Strategically tapping brands, companies and establishments for sponsorships
- Working closely with KASHISH Core Committee to finalize sponsorship and implement sponsors’ deliverables
- To undertake any such duty that falls within the remit of marketing of festival.
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR THE POSITION:
- Ability to think creatively and strategically
- High level attention to detail and follow-through
- High levels of self motivation, initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with sponsors, donors, colleagues and volunteers
- Strong work ethics and professional manner in communication is highly desirable
- Understanding of LGBT and film festival culture desirable.
ABOUT KASHISH MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL QUEER FILM FESTIVAL
KASHISH Mumbai Intentional Queer Film Festival is South Asia’s biggest queer film festival and the only LGBT film festival in India to be held in a mainstream theatre. It has been voted as one of the Top 5 coolest LGBT Film Festivals in the World and has been listed as one of the Top 5 film festivals in India.
Founded in 2010, KASHISH has grown from strength to strength over the last 9 years. Held across five days and simultaneously at two venues, the festival programs around 180 films from 50 countries and attracts close to 8500 footfalls each year. It is the first Indian LGBTQ festival to receive approval by the Information & Broadcasting Ministry, Government of India.
The festival attracts noted Bollywood celebrities, film-makers, critics and academicians from India as well as international guests from across the world. It receives more than 100 press features every year from Indian press as well as international press.
