In Marseille, in 2012, Julia and Auriane stood up to anti-gay marriage and adoption protesters, and offered a snapshot which soon became a reference in terms of anti-discrimination civic action. Against them, the homophobic groups protest andrant. Between progressive legislation and new homophobia, the film’s story highlights the state of affairs between France and homosexuality.
