Sridhar Rangayan | Festival Director

Sridhar Rangayan is an Indian filmmaker whose compelling films present hard-hitting social issues with warmth, compassion and humor. These award winning films are at the forefront of India’s emergent queer cinema movement – ground-breaking in a country where homosexuality is still socially unacceptable. He has served as Jury for prestigious film festivals such as Outfest 2012 in Los Angeles, Berlinale 2010 in Germany, Movies That Matter 2010 in Netherlands and SATO 2010 & 2011 in USA.

Saagar Gupta | Festival Programmer & Curator

Saagar Gupta is a recognized writer for Hindi feature films and television serials, having written several very popular TV series like Rishtey, Gubbare, Jassi Jaise Koi Nahi, Left Right Left, Radha Ki Betiyaan, etc as well as KalpanaLajmi’s critically acclaimed film Darmiyaan. He has penned dialogues for the film AaMuskuraa, lyrics for the 68 Pages, and is also the co-producer of The Pink Mirror (GulabiAaina) and Yours Emotionally. He has worked with the Children Film Society of India and coordinated two editions of the Golden Elephant Children’s International Film Festival. 

Shibu Thomas | Head (PR & Publicity)

Shibu Thomas is a journalist working with  a multi-edition English newspaper in India.  A journalist for the last 12 years, he has worked with dotcoms and with leading media houses in India. He has written on legal issues, as well as matters relating to development, environment and human rights.
