After escaping persecution in his country, Ramin (Arash Marandi), a young Iranian homosexual, lives in exile. When he got on the merchant ship he took in Turkey during his flight, he never expected to disembark in Veracruz – a Mexican port city inhabited by immigrants. Stuck there with little money on him, no knowledge of Spanish, few friends, and only occasional, casual labouring work, he is assailed by longings and memories of his past. A Skype chat with the boyfriend he left behind makes the fate of their relationship even more elusive. He begins to realize that he has no choice but to abandon his past. Unsure about the moves of his fellow worker Guillermo (Luis Alberti), can Rahim be able to revivify his desires in this foreign place, where macho and queer are so hard to tell apart?
