Dance of Celebration – Bharatnatyam
On the Opening Night of KASHISH 2015, acclaimed classical dancer Jitesh Bangera performed a Bharatnatyam piece alongwith his colleagues Radha Pathankar and Apurva Masurkar.
Titled ‘DANCE OF CELEBRATION’, the performance celebrated the festival of creation of happiness in the form of dance (nritya). The Mangalam chant’s essence was to state that “Everything in the universe starts from the single point … May there be peace in the earth, water, fire, air, the sun , moon and planet & in all the living beings in body mind and heart. May that peace be everywhere and in everyone”
