“The KASHISH 2015 Best Narrative Feature is awarded to Boys by Mischa Kamp for its layered narrative of an adolescent boy’s confusion about his sexuality surrounded by the machismo at his athletic club, as well as his brother and father at home, but also for being a complete film in every way. It incorporates all the elements required to make a full length feature work and the way the  screenplay, casting, plot-development, cinematography acting come together in this elegantly-told, textured story of a young sportsman’s coming to terms with his attraction for one of his male team mates, made it stand head over shoulders above the others in the section. Particularly riveting was the acting by its lead player.”
